General information

Abstract

The X-RISKS Thesaurus contains 646 concepts covering the multiple risks affecting forests and the forest-wood sector. Concepts are described with terms in French (100%) and English (100%), each with a sourced definition. They are organised into 6 thematic branches and 14 collections corresponding to the main biotic and abiotic hazards affecting forests like, among others, fire, drought, storm, insects, pathogens, or wild ungulates, … The structure of the thesaurus is based on the four components identified in the IPCC’s conceptual framework for risk: hazard, vulnerability, exposure, and response.
